Flabbergast Productions and 828 Asia proudly present Fire EX. Southeast Asia Tour, covering Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.Formed in 2000 in the port city of Kaohsiung, Fire EX. comprises Sam Yang (vocals, guitar), Orio (guitar), JC (bass), and KG (drums). Drawing inspiration from Japanese melodic punk icons such as Hi-Standard and HUSKING BEE, Fire EX. fuses poetic Taiwanese lyrics with an explosive stage presence that has long captivated young audiences and built a fiercely loyal fanbase.
Over the years, Fire EX. has expanded their global reach, performing at CMJ (New York), CMW and SXSW (Canada), Summer Sonic (Japan), and most recently at Fuji Rock Festival 2022. The band has also collaborated with Japanese acts including 10-FEET, locofrank, and MONOEYES, while founding FireBall Festival, Taiwan’s first punk rock festival, which solidified their place at the forefront of the region’s punk scene.
